Tang Buckle
The standard type of clasp that is fitted on almost all leather straps is
called a tang buckle. Whilst this type of clasp is very secure, it is
sometimes difficult fasten on the wrist. The bending of the strap to fit
into the buckle each time one wears it will cause the strap to wear faster than when using a folding clasp.

Dual Folding Clasp
A dual folding clasp is designed to reduce the stress on the strap of a watch. One can adjust the dual folding clasp to fit one’s wrist size. This makes this type of clasp a very practical and convenient tool for extending the life of a watch strap.
The push buttons on either side of the clasp control the opening and closing mechanism. They offer additional security and prevent the clasp from opening on its own.
